About Saathratri
What is Saathratri?
Saathratri is a hospitality platform for hotels and restaurants: direct-booking websites, a 24/7 AI guest concierge, automated guest messaging, digital check-in, maintenance management, loyalty, guest feedback, and back-office automation — sold as modules you can adopt one at a time.
What does the name mean?
Saathratri joins two Sanskrit-rooted words: saath (companionship, "together with") and ratri (night). It's the promise of the product — a companion that works through the night so you don't have to.
Getting started & pricing
Do I have to replace my existing systems?
No. Saathratri is modular — start with a single piece, like the booking website or back-office automation, and connect it to the way you already operate. You can add more modules whenever you're ready.
How long does it take to get started?
Most properties have their first module live within days, not months. We start with a short conversation about where your hours and margins go, then switch on the quickest win first.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on which modules you use and the size of your property. Book a demo and we'll give you a straightforward quote — and an honest estimate of the hours and commissions it should save you.
Is there a long-term contract?
Saathratri is a subscription, adopted module by module. Start with the one module that hurts most, prove it earns its keep, and add more when you're ready — the modular model is the commitment structure.
Do I pay for modules I don't use?
No. You subscribe to the modules you switch on, sized to your property. A 20-room inn running two modules and an 80-room hotel running six pay very different amounts — as they should.
How do I get a quote?
Use the contact form — tell us the property type, room or seat count, and what's eating your hours. We reply within one business day with a straightforward quote and an honest estimate of the hours and commissions it should save you.
Direct bookings & your website
How does Saathratri increase direct bookings?
Your property gets a fast, search-visible website with built-in booking, an AI concierge that turns questions into reservations at any hour, and loyalty and messaging tools that bring guests back to book direct — so fewer reservations flow through commission-charging channels.
How much commission do online travel agencies take?
Online travel agencies typically charge 15–25% of every reservation booked through them. On a $100 room-night that's $15–$25 gone before housekeeping has even turned the room. A booking made on your own website keeps that margin with you.
Will my property's website show up on Google?
It's built for that from day one: fast pages whose full content is readable by search engines and AI assistants without running any code, per-page titles and descriptions, and structured data describing your property. Being findable is the whole point of a direct-booking site.
Do I have to leave the OTAs to use a direct-booking website?
No. Your OTA listings keep working exactly as they do today. The goal is to shift the mix over time — every guest who books direct instead of through a commission channel is margin recovered, without giving up the visibility OTAs provide.
AI concierge & assistants
What questions can the AI concierge answer?
The questions guests actually ask: rooms and rates, amenities, policies like check-in times and pets, directions, nearby restaurants and attractions, and even the weather for their dates. It answers from your property's own information, so the answers are about your property.
What happens when the concierge doesn't know an answer?
It says so and hands the conversation to your team instead of guessing — with the chat history attached, so the guest never repeats themselves. You can review conversations and add the missing answer so it's covered next time.
Does the AI concierge speak my guests' languages?
Yes — guests can ask in their own language and get answers in it. For properties with international travelers, that's often the difference between a booking and a bounce.
What is an MCP server?
MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is an open standard that lets AI assistants use software tools: look things up, take actions, and get real answers instead of guessing. An MCP server is the piece that offers those tools. Saathratri runs one for hotel operations.
What can an AI assistant actually do with Saathratri's MCP server?
Real hotel work: look up a reservation, answer a guest's question about the property or the area, send an SMS or email, report a room issue and create the work order, run room inspections, and turn a housekeeping report into the day's cleaning assignments — 30 tools across those categories.
Can any AI assistant access my hotel's data?
No. Only assistants your property has approved can connect, and each one works only with your property's own data. You decide which assistants get access and what they're allowed to do.
Guest messaging & arrival
Which channels does guest messaging support?
SMS text messages, WhatsApp, email, and voice — so every guest hears from you on the channel they actually read. Messages are sent from your property's own numbers and addresses.
Can guests reply to the messages?
Yes — it's a conversation, not a broadcast. Replies land in one thread per guest with the full history, where your team or the AI concierge can pick the conversation up with context.
Do guests need to download an app to check in?
No. Digital check-in is a link in the guest's confirmation or pre-arrival message that opens in their phone's browser. They confirm their details and complete registration in a couple of minutes — no app store involved.
What does digital check-in take care of before arrival?
The paperwork: confirming reservation details, completing the registration your property requires, and sharing arrival-day instructions. When the guest walks in, the front desk greets a person instead of processing a form.
Operations
Can housekeeping and maintenance staff use it on their phones?
Yes — work orders, room inspections, and daily assignments are made for a phone in one hand and a cart in the other. Issues can be reported in plain language and become categorized, prioritized work orders.
What is a preventive maintenance schedule?
Recurring tasks on a calendar — filter changes, deep cleans, safety checks — done before something breaks instead of after. Small fixes on a schedule are cheaper than big repairs on an emergency, and the log proves the work happened.
Do my guests need another app for the loyalty program?
No. Loyalty works through the website and messages your guests already use — they join, track rewards, and redeem without installing anything. The lower the friction, the more regulars actually enroll.
Does a small independent property really need a loyalty program?
If you have regulars, you already have one — it's just unmanaged. Tiers and rewards give returning guests a concrete reason to book directly with you instead of through a commission channel, which is where a loyalty program pays for itself.
How does Saathratri help with online reviews?
By timing. Guests are asked for feedback while they're still on property, so problems reach your team in time to fix quietly. Guests who had a great stay are guided toward sharing it publicly. No gating, no fake reviews — just asking at the right moment.
What happens when a guest reports a problem mid-stay?
Your team is alerted while the guest is still there — and if it's a physical issue, it can become a maintenance work order in the same motion. A problem fixed before checkout rarely becomes a one-star review after it.
Back office
What does the back-office automation actually do?
It handles recurring financial busywork on a schedule: collecting bank and card statements, reconciling payouts against your books, gathering supplier invoices, preparing and filing sales and occupancy taxes, and delivering occupancy and revenue reports — with a log of everything it did.
Is the back-office automation fully hands-off?
Almost — and we're honest about the "almost." Some banks and vendor portals require a human step by design, such as approving a two-factor prompt. When that happens the automation pauses, asks, and continues. Automated end-to-end, human-in-the-loop where the vendor requires it.
Do I need to change banks, processors, or other systems?
No. The automation works with the systems you already use — your hotel PMS, your bank and card portals, your vendor sites. Nothing gets ripped out or replaced; the busywork just stops landing on your desk.
How do I know what the automation actually did?
Every run leaves a record: what was collected, what was reconciled, what was filed, and when. Reports land in your inbox on schedule, and the paper trail is there whenever you — or your accountant — want to check the work.
Data & privacy
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your business data and your guests' data are kept confidential, encrypted in transit, and never sold. Each property's data is isolated, and we act on your instructions for any guest-data requests. See our Privacy Policy for details.
